Main Achievements
In recent years, we have focused on the topic of radical chemistry. We have made use of the high reactivity of radical to activate inert chemical bonds and upgraded simple feedstocks to high value-added fine chemicals. We have achieved many copper-catalyzed asymmetric transformations of the radical species, such as the cross-coupling of alkyl halides and difunctionalization of alkenes. We have published more than 20 papers as (co-)first author/corresponding author, such as J. Am. Chem. Soc. (5), Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. (4), Nat. Commun. (1), Sci. Adv. (1), ACS Catal. (1), and Chem. Soc. Rev. (1), etc. We also obtained financial support from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Natural Science Foundation of Guangdong Province, and Shenzhen Science and Technology Program.
Honors: The First-Class Prize of the Natural Science Award of Guangdong Province in 2023 (rank: 3/6)
