During the preparation of GBU, the Scientific Research Department is the functional department in charge of scientific and technological work, and its primary responsibilities include:

1. To study and develop plans and policies for sci-tech development, as well as establish and implement sci-tech management systems and incentive measures;

2. To organize, coordinate and apply for sci-tech projects at all levels, provide process management and related services, facilitate sci-tech collaborations with local government and enterprises, and promote the popularization and transformation of sci-tech achievements;

3. To construct, manage, evaluate and accept innovation platforms at all levels, including research bases, laboratories, and centers;

4. To manage sci-tech achievements and statistics, handle applications and administration of various sci-tech awards, and organize sci-tech events and services;

5. To complete other tasks assigned by higher authorities and university leadership.
